Sasha by the Sea is a small handmade jewellery business in South Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and what you bought.
When you send a message through the contact form: your name, email address and message.
When you browse: general information about how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, rough location by city), collected by Google Analytics using cookies.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

To make, post and support your order, and to send order and shipping emails.
To reply to your messages.
To understand which pages and products people like, so we can improve the shop.

We do not sell or rent your information. If you join a mailing list in future, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help run the shop: Stripe (payments), Australia Post (delivery), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (order emails) and Google (analytics). If advertising on Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram is switched on, those platforms may use cookies to measure how ads perform. Some of these services store data outside Australia.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep your shopping bag and to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop still works, but your bag may be forgotten.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by using the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, please tell us first; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
